5th Wheel Installation Kit for 2014 Ram 2500 With 6-Foot Bed

I have a Valley 25K slider hitch that I want to mount on my 2014 2500 Dodge with 6foot bed. What mounting kit do you recommend? I do not have the factory hitch package, ie pockets Thanks

The 5th wheel universal installation kit you referenced, Reese # RP30035, is one option for installing your 25K Valley Slider Hitch. This is the most cost-effective option, but universal kits like this do require more drilling and longer overall installation time than custom-fit bracket kits.

Another option is the Curt Custom Install Kit # C16427-204. This kit includes industry-standard base rails that are fully compatible with your Valley slider and uses custom-fit frame brackets that require no drilling into your Ram's frame (drilling is still required in the bed of course). These rails have a carbide finish, but if you prefer a high-gloss finish you can instead use # C16427-104.
