Availability of Electric Drum Brake Assemblies Like # 23-468 Without Integrated Mounting Bolts
Question:
I want to purchase the Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assemblys. Two LH 23-468 an two 23-469 RH. I would like to know if there is an alternative mounting bolt other than the ones that come with them? Upon removing backing plates, the bolt/nut usually end up turning as a whole making them very hard to remove. I end up using a sawz-all cutting off the bolts. I do not own a cutting torch. The heads of the bolt should be something you can get a wrench on. Thanks.

All of the electric drum brake assemblies we offer in the 10 x 2-1/4-inch size that are suitable for 3500-lb axles have mounting bolts installed. We do offer separate brake mounting bolts in a 7/16-inch size with 20 threads-per-inch, part # 7-75. We also offer washers # 5-8 and nuts # 6-17.
