Camper Tie Downs for a 2009 Dodge Ram 2500HD Short Bed and Travel Lite Slide-in Camper

will the bed hold downs hssf work for this app.or do i need to go with the frame mounted hold downs. i have a factory hitch and will be towing a 18 ft lund mr pike w/ 135 hp. mercury motor.

The camper tie downs # HSSF fit most domestic pickups. The only exclusions are as follows:

Will not fit step side beds or some double-wall beds
Will not fit some Dually beds
Will not fit some import trucks
Will not fit 2004-2008 Ford F-150 Pickups

They should be no problem on your 2009 Dodge Ram 2500HD Short Bed. I have linked a video and the instructions for the tie downs for you. I also recommend the hardware package to match the tie downs, # TDHP.

The frame mount options for TorkLift are going to be the best option though for strength and stability. For a 2009 Ram 2500, 6-1/2 foot bed, 4x4, without running boards and with a factory hitch you would need # TLD2102 for the front.
