Availability of Plug-In Brake Controller Harness for 2010 Acura MDX With Factory 7-Way
Question:
Hi, I have a 2010 MDX and dont see an adapter for a Curt TriFlex Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional Curt Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Dual Plug In. I read in a MDX forum that the Honda Ridgeline adapter is perfectly compatible with the MDX. Do you happen to know? I already have the trailer hitch/tow package with 7pin hook-up. Any assistance would be great. Thanks!

Since Curt has not tested and confirmed this I cannot recommend this method to you. I also contacted the technical team at Tekonsha, another prominent maker of brake controllers, and they too confirmed no quick-connect harness is offered for your MDX.
The use of the Curt Tri-Flex Trailer Brake Controller # C24VV in your 2010 Acura MDX will therefore require a hard-wire installation.
Since you already have a factory 7-way connector you will use Wiring Kit # 5506, which includes wiring, connectors and the circuit breaker required for installing your Tri-Flex. A video is included for your reference along with a helpful article on brake controller installation.
