Recommendation for T Kit Wiring Harness to Add 7 Pin Connector to Bed of 1997 Ford F-350

Question:

I have a 97 F350 diesel crew cab old body style with a 7 pin trailer connector connected to the factory harness. Is there a tee kit to add another 7 pin connector in the bed for a 5th wheel?

If the back of the 7 way on your 1997 Ford E350 can be unplugged and is a U.S. style car connector, the Hopkins Endurance Fifth Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug, # 41157, will work for you. I have attached a picture of the U.S. style car connector for you to compare to.

If your truck does not have the U.S. style car connector, you would need to splice in the Fifth Wheel and Gooseneck Pigtail Harness, # 20023, in order to add a 7-pin connector to the bed of your truck.

It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections to help prevent corrosion. Dielectric Grease, # 11755, helps prevent electrical failures caused by corrosion and moisture.
