Can a Kuat NV Bike Rack be Adapted to a 2-1/2 Inch Trailer Hitch Receiver

I am interested in the Kuat NV bike rack. Can it be adapted to a 2 1/2 inch hitch with no movement? Thanks

The Kuat NV Bike Rack, # NV22G, can be adapted to a 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver using a reducer sleeve like part # C45405. The Kuat NV has an anti-rattle shank that will eliminate movement in the reducer, but there are no anti-rattle devices for the reducer sleeve in the 2-1/2 inch hitch receiver.
For a bike rack that would eliminate rattle in the sleeve and the trailer hitch, I recommend looking at the Thule T2 Pro X Bike Rack, # TH23GC. You would still need the reducer sleeve, but this bike rack has a threaded shank and uses a threaded hitch pin to tighten the bike rack shank to the side of the receiver. It will also tighten the adapter sleeve and the hitch.
If you wanted a locking hitch pin, you can pick up the Thule Snug Tite Hitch Lock, # THSTL2, which also uses a threaded hitch pin. I have attached a video review of this bike rack for you to check out.
