What Settings for SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1010 Used to Install on 2011 Volkswagen Jetta
Question:
I have a 2011 Jetta, I bought this rack for this car, at what length do i set the cross bars at? There are numbers at both sides. Thanks

Expert Reply:
I spoke to my contact at SportRack and she informed me that both the front and rear bars should be set at 19. That number will read on both sides of the bar.
The front bar will sit 7 inches back from the front corner of the windshield and the cross bar spread will be 26 inches.

I’m doing everything you do in the video and they are slipping off when I tighten them I have a 2013 jetta and the slightest tightening send them slipping off my car.
