Need Shank to Lower Hitch on my 2005 Ford F350 with 6 Inch Lift and 38 Inch Tires to Tow My Camper
Question:
I have a 2005 F350 with a 6inch lift and 38inch tires. I need to lower my hitch for my camper. I was looking at the curt with 13-3/4 inch drop. Would this be enough or do you have something better. I just need the shaft part due to moving my hitch head over to the new one. I have a 35 ft. pull behind and need at least 10000 lb GTW

The Curt shank, part # C17125, provides a drop of 15-3/4 inches of drop with a trunnion bar system or 16-1/4 inches with a round bar system. The drop is measured from the hitch pin hole to the top of the hitch ball.
I am including an article on how to choose the correct ball mount. By taking the measurements, as stated in the article, you can determine the amount of drop needed to give you the safest, most comfortable, towing experience. Feel free to email me back with your measurements and I would be happy to give you a recommendation for a weight distribution shank.
