Recommended Trunk Mount Bike Rack For 2013 Toyota Prius V With Spoiler

Question:

Will the Yakima King Joe Pro 2 fit a 2013 Toyota Prius V ? The website says it does, but mine has a spoiler at the top of the glass on the hatchback lift gate and it does not mention that. It seems to me that if the straps are placed over the spoiler it could put too much pressure on the spoiler and cause it to loosen up or come off. Your thoughts would be appreciated.

With a spoiler installed on your 2013 Toyota Prius V, the bike carrier I recommend is the Hollywood Racks Trunk Bike Rack, part # HRF2. The Yakima KingJoe Pro 2 Bike Rack, part # Y02624 is not designed to work with your Prius V with the spoiler.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend an adapter bar like part # HRBA-PRO. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and helps the bikes stay level when in the bike rack while providing more ground clearance.
