Where to Lubricate Dexter Nev-R-Adjust Electric Trailer Brakes
Question:
Hi, I installed the 10inch Nev-R-Adjust Electric Brake Assembly from you folks a few years ago. I would like to know all the points that I should lubricate as a good yearly practice? Also, what type of lube should I use? As always, thanks for your help.

You have to be careful if you lubricate electric trailer brakes such as # 23-468. You cannot get any grease on the pads or on the inside of the drum because that will have a negative impact on brake performance.
The magnet arm and the shoes pivot at a single point each. You can use just some wheel bearing grease such as # L11380 at those locations. Ideally you would completely wipe away any grease prior to adding new grease. It will not take much and that tub of grease, listed above, should last you a good long while.
