Recommendation for Receiver Hitch and Bike Rack for 2011 Toyota Sienna

Question:

Hi, Im looking for the best fitting hitch for our 2011 Sienna and a wheel mount bike rack for 4 bikes. Is there any combo that works particularly well? My husband would like to be able to open the trunk as a bonus. Ive browsed though all the options, but would like to know what other customers have like with their 2011 Sienna. P.S. I love your web page! So much info.

I recommend the Curt Class III Receiver Hitch, # C13105, for your 2011 Toyota Sienna. This hitch has a 2 inch opening which gives you the added benefit of having more options when it comes to hitch mounted accessories.

The rack has a shank rise of 7 inches for added ground clearance and works with bikes that have a wheelbase up to 60 inches and a tire width up to 3 inches. The tilting design of the rack makes it easier to load the bikes and gives access to the rear cargo area.

Bikes with small or angled frames can be difficult to load on hanging style bike racks and they can cause ground clearance issues. The use of an adapter bar like the Hollywood Racks Bar, # HRBA-PRO, will allow you to load the bikes easily and safely.
