What is the Wire Gauge Used in the Coiled Adapter - 7-Way Flat Pin Blade to 5-Flat # 787196
Question:
Hello, I just received this product from you and I have a question... my current 7-wire cord is twice the thickness of this product mine is not coiled. Is this coiled wire thinner because it is simply a better design that is equally good but in a less bulky package, or is it because it only has 4 wires going through the central portion of it instead of 7? Thank you.

A coiled cable would have to be a bit thinner in order to efficiently coil and also not be bulky and heavy. But the outer cable is not as important as the wires on the inside. In this adapter, # 787196, the wires are 16 gauge. This is very common for trailer wiring accessories. Wesbar does make a good product so I think you will like this adapter.
