Trailer Connector Adapter to Fix Bulb Out Sensor of 2014 Porsche Cayenne and Trailer with LED Lights
Question:
Have a new 2014 Cayenne. Had a strange light plug on it not matching my new trailer with LED lighting. I found an adaptor from the center blade to the round center type. Tailor lights dont work. Is this part the adaptor I have to have due to the bulb out issue?

I am not sure what the strange connector is on your 2014 Porsche Cayenne but it should have the standard 7-Way blade style on it. Adapter # C57003 is designed to solve that bulb out issue. But if your trailer does not have the 7-Way blade style connector then in addition to this adapter you would need either another adapter or replace the 7-Way output end of the above adapter with the correct vehicle side connector that is compatible with your trailer.
So that begs the questions: what type of connector is on the vehicle and what type is on the trailer? I have linked our help article on wiring that shows the different types of connectors so you can identify what the Cayenne and trailer have. Then I can determine everything you will need.
