Roof Mount Cargo Bag for a 2007 Honda Fit with a Naked Roof

Question:

I would very much like to increase my 2007 Honda Fit carrying capacity. This seems to be the perfect solution, but the description says for vehicals described as large, SUV, and crossovers. Is the Fit large enough to be compatible? Secondarily, I do a lot of camping and many of the things I haul are large/bulky/dirty and I would rather not risk them leaking inside. That being said, is the carrier washable?

The Rightline cargo bag # RL100S30 measures 48 inches long, 40 inches wide, and 19 inches tall. If the roof on your 2007 Honda Fit is large enough for these dimensions then you can use this bag.

For a smaller bag, 36 x 30 x 16, you can use # RL100S50.

For either bag I recommend using car clips # RL100600 so you will not have to route straps through the interior of the vehicle. I also recommend protective pad # RL100650 to not only protect the roof but to also prevent the bag from sliding while traveling.

The carriers can be hosed out and mild soap and water for tougher cleaning. Please check the vehicle owners manual and/or Honda for the capacity of the roof before loading.
