Is Trimming Required to Install the Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch # 36423 on a 2014 Jeep Patriot
Question:
The Draw-Tite Class II Frame Receiver Hitch code 36423 is recommended for my 2014 Jeep Patriot. It says no drilling is required. Will it be necessary to do any cutting, or is it just a matter of bolting the receiver to the frame? Thanks

The Draw-Tite Class II Trailer Hitch, # 36423, will fit your 2014 Jeep Patriot and some fascia trimming is required. The hitch will bolt to the frame, but part of the bumper fascia must be trimmed for the receiver. I have attached the installation instructions for this hitch that includes several diagrams and dimensions that you will find helpful when determining where to trim the fascia.
All of the trailer hitches offered for your Jeep Patriot require fascia trimming.
