Installing Optronics Sealed Thin Line LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL69RRXB

Question:

TAIL LIGHT MODEL STL69RRXB I want to use this light on my truck canopy as a 3rd brake light and clearance light with no turn signal. The truck is an incandescent system. Will I need an adapter for use with the incandescent lights. Also, can the wires be routed off center and still be flush mounted? Thanks.

The Optronics Sealed Thin Line LED Stop/Turn/Tail Light # STL69RRXB that you referenced is a surface-mount (not a flush-mount) 3-wire fixture. This can be installed along with other standard incandescent lighting without any sort of adapter. The white wire is ground, the black wire is for taillights and the red wire is for the brake light. These three wires need to be routed through a hole in the mounting surface.
