Your horse trailer should have a plate on the tongue or frame somewhere that lists the correct tire size to use for that trailer. If it happens to be ST235/85R16 then we have to covered. Trailer tire # AM10501 is a Load Range F rated for 3,960 pounds at 110 psi.
We also have a load range E # AM10295 which is rated for 3,640 pounds at 95 psi.
I am assuming that your horse trailer has at least 2 axles. If you went with the load range F tire, # AM10501, then 4 of them would have a capacity of 15,840 pounds. If the trailer tire size is not listed on the trailer anywhere then you can go by the gross trailer weight.
The ST235/85R16 tires will fit 6 inch to 7-1/2 inch wide wheels.
