Normally for RV applications there is not a wire bundle located under the dash of the vehicle for brake controller installation. If your RV came with a factory 7-Way at the rear of the vehicle, then the blue wire for the brake feed may be ran and located under the dash to the left of the steering column.
You will need to hard wire your brake controller to the stoplight switch, battery, ground and trailer brakes. You will need to use a Circuit tester, part # PTW2993 if you need one, to determine the correct wire to splice the red wire from the brake controller to. This wire, usually white on Chevrolet vans, is found coming out of the brake pedal switch and will show power only when the pedal is depressed.
To wire the trailer connector you will need to hard wire the Brake Controller 7- & 4-Way Installation Kit, part number ETBC7, to complete the installation. You can just cut off the 4-way connector and extend these wires to splice in behind the vehicle taillights for left, right, brake and taillight functions.
