Since a weight distribution set-up is classified by the trailer tongue weight, the first thing you'll want to do when choosing a weight distribution system is to find the fully loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer. To that figure, you'll want to add the weight of anything stowed in the bed of the truck behind the rear axle. I've linked you to a help article that will show a few ways of finding the tongue weight.

You'll choose a system based on its effective tongue weight range. Ideally, you'd want your tongue weight to fall as close as possible to the middle of the effective range of the system. The Reese Strait Line system you looked at, part # RP66074 is designed for trailers whose tongue weights are between 600-1200 lbs. If your trailer tongue weight falls into that range, it would be a great choice for you.

The # RP66074 does't include a shank. You can use the # RP54977 shank that's compatible with 2-1/2 inch receivers. This will work as long as the hitch on your truck is not a Curt model. Reese has confirmed that the # RP54977 shank is compatible with the # RP66074 W/D system. The system does not include the necessary trailer ball with the 1-1/4 inch diameter shank. For a 2 inch ball, use part # A-90 or part # 19286 for a 2-5/16 inch ball.
