Do the CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons # CE27660 Flex or Pivot
Question:
My 1982 14foot Alumicraft rowboat has sides that are wider apart at the midpoint of the boat than at the rear. I would like to install these bunk boards at the rear of the trailer as shown in the product literature. Will they flex outward as the wider midpoint slides past them, or will they pinch the boat, preventing the boat from loading onto the trailer? Im guessing the midpoint width is about six inches wider than the transom width.

The support posts on CE Smith Bunk-Style Guide-Ons # CE27660 is not meant to flex or pivot so they would pinch the boat. You would want to install them so that they match the width of the boat at the widest point if at all possible.
