Flat Towing With 2010 Ford E450

Question:

I am trying to locate a hitch to use on a 2010 E450 Class C chassis. I need to have minimum 7K pulling for a 4 down situation near zero tongue wt. What is available? Thanks.

I am going to need a bit more information in order to make a good recommendation. Is your 2010 Ford E450 a Cab and Chassis style or an RV cut-away. I spoke with my contact at Cequent, and they said that what you would have to do to determine if a hitch would fit is to measure the frame. If you have a 34 inch wide frame then I recommend a hitch like the Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch, part # 41947. This hitch has a 2 inch receiver opening and has a gross trailer weight capacity of 15,000 lbs. This is a Class V rated hitch and has a limited lifetime warranty.
