Reese 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch Installation Kit for a 2014 Chevy Silverado 2500

Question:

I have a sliding Reese 5th wheel hitch in my 2006 Silverado 2500 HD. I am upgrading to a 2014 Silverado 2500 HD. Will the mounting brackets match up with the holes on the 2014s Frame or will I have to replace them?

The 2006 Chevy Silverado and 2014 Silverado (2500 on both) take different frame brackets for a Reese custom installation kit. The rails you already have will still work but you will need to replace the brackets with # RP50066. I also recommend additional hardware package # RP58430 to attach the rails to the brackets. The original hardware is meant to be installed just once. I have linked the instructions for you and a video showing installation.
