Replacement Wheel Bolts For Folding Utility Trailer
Question:
I have an old folding utility trailer with the original 8inch wheels. I have 12inch wheels and tires in my cart to buy from you right now, but I know I a going to have to cut the old lug bolts off of the 4 on 4 wheels. There is no chance of loosening them. What lug bolts and nuts will I need to purchase to replace them? I hope you know. I figure you must have had this question before what with how popular those red utility trailer frames are.

One of the wheel bolts we offer are Redline Wheel Bolts, part # RG02-020. These are 1/2-20 bolts which are the standard for many hubs, drums, and wheels. They also have the industry standard 60 degree cone and are fine threaded.
The 1/2 inch lug nut we offer is part # CE11051. These fit 1/2 inch wheel bolts.
If you can possibly loosen at least one of the lug bolts you currently have we would have a better chance of trying to find the replacement you need.
I recommend calling your trailer manufacturer to find out what lug bolts are installed on your trailer. They should be able to tell you exactly what wheel hardware was used on your trailer. This woudl remove any guesswork for replacement parts.
