The connections for the T-One vehicle Wiring Harness, part # 118412, should be made using the connector closest to the taillights behind the trim panels on each side of the vehicle. I have included a link to an installation video of this harness on a 2008 Toyota RAV4. You will want to make sure all of the connections are securely fastened and free of corrosion.
If you are still having problems, you will want to check the wiring leading into the converter box on the harness. You will need to use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 and check each wire for function. If all the functions are correct, the issue is not with the vehicle wiring.
You will then need to check the functions of the wires coming out of the converter box. If the wiring functions are correct going into the box and wrong coming out of the box, the converter is bad and needs to be replaced.
