Width of the Operator Arm Channel on the Replacement Operator # BVD0462-00

Question:

I need the measurement of the gap which is between the operator bar and the stud which fits into the key opening of the dome bar. I purchased one which was recommended by Ventline customer service: operator #V0115-04, but the spacing at the end of the bar was too wide. Therefore, I could not fit the stud from the new operator bar through the opening in the center bar. My old stud depth has a 1/8inch gap between the operator bar and the cap of the stud. Please tell me if BVD0462-00 will fit my needs. According to Ventiine, it should. But then, Ventine also said part #V0115-04 would work, and it did not.

I went out into our warehouse and pulled a Replacement Operator, Knob and Screw for Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vents # BVD0462-00 that you referenced and got the dimension you requested.

The width of the channel on the operator arms is 1/8 of an inch like you need.
