We do have a brake controller installation video for the 2009 Ford F-150, see link. Installing a brake controller on the 2009 Ford F-150 is fairly easy. You will need to locate the plug for the brake controller which is behind the tray in the dash to the right of the steering wheel. Once you remove the panel the tray is built into (see video link) you will find the brake controller connection built into the back of the tray.

If you are purchasing a new brake controller I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Brake Controller, item # 90195 and adapter # 22292 for your pick up.
