Cross Bar Measurements to Install SportRack Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1002 on a 2011 Honda Civic
Question:
We are trying to install it on our honda civic 2011 4dr. The bar system measurement should be 21 based on the guide chart. However it looks like sitting on a odd position, not close enough to the edge part. Are we doing it right? Thanks.

You are correct, the front cross bar should be at the 21 inch setting while the back should be 20 inches. The distance from where the doors meet should be 10 inches and the distance between the cross bars should be 25 inches measured on center. This rack has a capacity of 90 lbs.
Since this is a semi-custom roof rack the install can prove to be more challenging than other rack installs. Try to use the Sportrack recommendations, they have worked for other owners of your vehicle so they should work for you. You might check to make sure that once you have the 21 inch setting in place that the cross bar is perfectly centered and square on your roof.
