Can 2 Sets of Dutton-Lainson Deluxe Bunk Rollers be Used
Question:
We just bought a 1995 23 ft Monterey deck boat of 4000 lbs, and are having to redo the trailer as it does not fit the boat. The trailer is a Heritage. The bunks are 8 and 10 ft long on each side . Can I attach 2 sets to each bunk to support the 4000lb weight? The bunks are 2 x 6 .

You can use two sets of the Dutton-Lainson Deluxe Roller bunks, # DL21741, for your 4,000 lb deck boat as long as each pair is not supporting more than their 3,000 lb weight capacity. It would be best if you could verify how much weight would be on the roller bunks in the location that you plan on mounting them.
Keep in mind, using 2 sets of roller bunks does not double their weight capacity to 6,000 lbs, you will just be spreading the total weight of the boat over more than one pair of bunks. They will still have their weight capacity of 3,000 lbs per pair.
