Width of the Bushings in the Replacement Shock part # 1844-2
Question:
Can you give me some dimensions for your surge brake shock #1844-2? *What is the width of the mounting tube that goes through the rubber bushing at each end? The one Im trying to replace is 1-1/4. *What is the diameter of the body of the shock tube? Im trying to retrofit a shock into an old style Atwood coupler. There doesnt seem to be support for that old coupler anymore. I think I may be able to make your #1844-2 work. Thanks, Mark

I went into our warehouse and got the dimensions you are looking for. One end of the Replacement Shock part # 1844-2 that you referenced has a width of 1-1/4 inches while the other has a width of 1-7/8 inches.
