Would the Curt Folding Cargo Carrier part # C18151 work on a 2012 Honda CRV  

Question:

Please explain if this carrier would work with an adapter. I prefer a folding to a non-folding carrier.

If you have a 2 inch hitch on your 2012 Honda CR-V like the Curt hitch part # C13119 you would not need to use an adapter to install and fold up the Curt Cargo Carrier part # C18151.

If you have a hitch with a 1-1/4 inch opening like the Draw Tite Hitch part # 36520 you could use an adapter like the Brophy Hitch adapter part # HTAD, but you should note that doing so will cut the capacity of your hitch in half.
