Trying to locate a white backup light for a boat trailer...needs to be submersible and provide bright light source. Not sure which style provide the most light while being waterproof. What would you recommend?

The brightest, submersible, 12 volt LED light that can be used as a backup light is # BUL10CB. It is flush mount (use grommet # a70gb). LED are brighter than incandescent lights.
You will also need a wiring harness, # A49PB, to connect to the light. While the light is submersible, the wiring connections will need some attention to keep out water. I recommend using use shrink tubing. You can also use liquid electrical tape, # SWC50122, to cover wiring splices to keep out water.
Dielectric grease, # 11755, should be used between the light and the wiring harness.
These lights are certified as backup lights when installed as a pair in a 2-lamp system. The 2-lamp system would also provide more light.
