Ball Mount Recommendation for a 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude with Factory Hitch
Question:
Just bought 2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude with tow package and found out no ball mount came with it. Cannot find a ball mount to fit. Need to have 2inch ball. Not sure if I need 4inch rise or what? Can you help? Want to tow pop up camper in a week. :D

When you pick out a ball mount for a vehicle you want to pick out one with the correct amount of rise or drop so that when you are towing your trailer it tows as level as possible. Check out the FAQ article I attached that shows how to do this.
From the research I did it looks like the factory hitch for your 2014 Jeep Patriot has a 1-1/4 inch opening. The recommended 1-1/4 inch ball mount for the aftermarket hitches for your vehicle is the Class II Drawbar # 36061 that you referenced. This ball mount can only be used in the rise position, so it would give you 3-1/8 inches of rise. If you need a different rise check out the link I attached that shows all of the 1-1/4 inch ball mounts we offer.
For a 2 inch ball to go with this ball mount you would want the Hitch Ball part # 19258.
