Transmission Cooler For A 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I have a Silverado 1500 that I pull a 3500 travel trailer with. Is this the correct and most efficient transmission cooler for my needs? I have never installed one, will I be able to do this?

Hello David, thanks for reaching out. The 2012 Silverado has the 6L80 transmission which is definitely prone to overheating. I recommend going with the largest transcooler you can fit. The # D13402 stacked plate cooler is a great option which will provide very effective cooling. This cooler is 13" wide x 6-7/16" tall x 2" deep so please do verify that you will have space.
