What Is The Difference Between Furrion Chill FR42PV and FR58PR?
Question:
Is there a difference between the FR58PR and the FR42PV units other than the wiring adapter and mounting bolts included with the FR42PV? The price difference between the 2 units is $and the price on the adapter kit is only $if purchased separately with the FR58PR at $ Also, I purchased a Furrion 15.5K FACR15SA-W-C Coleman replacement kit a couple years ago from you. Is the 15.5K unit not available anymore and replaced by the 15K unit?

Hey Doug,
You are correct. The Furrion # FR42PV is just the Furrion # FR58PR and adapter kit # C-FACR15SA-A01 kitted together. If its cheaper right now to buy the two parts separately, then go that route. Pricing changes based on quite a few factors, so some times it can be cheaper to buy everything separate, and sometimes the kit will be the better deal.
Furrion no longer makes the 15.5k BTU unit, They converted everything to 15k BTU to match the standards of the industry. You can use the 15k BTU to replace your current unit, and it will perform exactly the same.
