Bolt-On Mounting Plate For A Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack # BD1541150301
Question:
While I realize this jack is designed to work with a weld on bracket, there are pictures that show a bolt on bracket. The round standard bracket is welded to a plate that is then bolted on to the tongue. Is this a custom piece of work or can this be purchased somewhere? It would make installation much easier for me since I would not have to worry about heat affecting my tongue box etc during the welding process. Thanks!

Hi Rick,
What you're referring to is a snap ring swivel plate which would require the appropriate mounting plate being welded to the jack. Instead you can use the etrailer Bolt-On Swivel Mounting Plate # e52JR to attach the Bulldog Round, Pipe-Mount Swivel Jack # BD1541150301 to your trailer frame. This plate will require you to drill two holes in to the trailer frame in order to install.
