Comparing INNO Rooftop Cargo Boxes For Hauling Gear On a 2022 Subaru Outback With Factory Crossbars

Hello! First time on your website and I appreciate how much information you provide! I am shopping for a roof box for my 2022 Subaru Outback which has the standard factory rack/crossbars. I do NOT want to install a new rack or additional crossbars. I have decided I like INNO bestI really like those memory mount clamps! I dont need a huge box, no skis, snowboards, or surfboards. I am outfitting my Outback into a camper, but often like to take friends on trips, or at least provide the gear for them. I am an avid camper, retired now, and have all the gearextra tents and all. So Ill be using my roof box for extra camping gear/extra supplies for long trips. I also want low profile or good aerodynamics and low noise/good gas mileage because I take LONG, big road trips. Im planning a road trip from Ohio out west/Pacific NW, crossing lots of mountains, so aerodynamics are very important. In the future I want to head up to Canada and Alaska. Therefore, I like the Inno Shadow 16 INBRA1210BK, but do not like the glossy finish even tho its listed as matte, gloss finish is mentioned in your review. Also I think it does NOT have the memory mountsif I got that, could I fit memory mounts into it? Although that may take me over-budget. Im also looking at the Inno Box 2020 IN86FR. I think that comes with memory mounts. Its a little taller can you provide info on aerodynamics, noise, gas mileage on that? Thirdly, I am looking at the INNO Wedge 660 but they only list it as gloss black and the INNO BRM2020ST at REI. See photos That one may be my TOP pick thus far, but they dont tell me what mounts it has! ?? Do you carry those? Or can you for a comparable price? Can you tell me if those models have the memory mounts or any further info on them? Id like to give you the business because I am impressed with your website so far, but did not want to go over $. Can you give me advice on which INNO option would be best for me? Thank you!

That is a lot of information Mary, but here we go and I hope I don't miss any of your questions.

The Inno Shadow 16 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRA1210BK has quick mount clamps but can be upgraded with the Memory Mount Clamps # INBRP9. I do see what you mean by the matte finish being a bit shiny. I would personally call it more of a satin finish than a matte.

The Inno Box 2020 Rooftop Cargo Box # IN86FR does have the memory clamps and is only 1-3/4" taller than the Shadow 16. The difference is only going to be minimal when it comes to noise and gas mileage. Do understand we do not test those factors but I do not feel like there would be a notable difference in noise or gas mileage.

The Inno Wedge 660 Rooftop Cargo Box # INBRM660BK is only available in a gloss finish at this time. It also has the memory mounts.

As for the pricing we do not currently do any price matching but as you have noticed our information is virtually untouched in the industry and our customer service is as well.
