Recommended Slider 5th Wheel Hitch for a 2014 Ram 3500 w/ Short Bed and Hitch Prep Package

I just bought a 2014 dodge mega cab. It is a 3500 dually. It has the factory set up for a fifth wheel hitch. I am looking for a Slider rated around 20k. What do i need to make this happen?

We have just what you need. The first thing you will want is the Reese 5th Wheel Rail Adapter for Ram OEM 5th Wheel Towing Prep Package # RP30154. This will install into the underbed hitch prep pucks to provide you with industry standard rails for a slider hitch to install into.

For a slider hitch with 20k capacity I would recommend the Curt A20 5th Wheel Hitch and Slider part # C16541. This unit has a forged self-latching jaw that wraps all the way around the king pin for maximum security and minimizes rattle.
