Recommendations For Securing Items On a Reese Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100
Question:
I just purchased this cargo rack. I carry a generator, fuel can, water can, and spare tire on the rack. I’ve had issues with ratchet straps not holding properly. Is there a cargo net that you recommend to fit this cargo rack and hold my cargo in place better than my ratchet straps do?

I cannot recommend a cargo net for the 32x48 Reese Solo Cargo Carrier # PS1040100 and the amount of weight you will be carrying. A ratchet strap like the ShockStrap # SS99PV is going to be your best solution. This strap has the shock to keep tension on the strap while allowing it to stretch since the stress of the bouncing weight on the rack is most likely bending your carrier. This would explain why you are having issues with your current ratchet straps.
For lighter items like your fuel and water can using a Bungee Cord # 3031DAT will likely be your best option.
