Do Weight Distribution Systems Require a Minimum Tongue Weight

Do WDHs reguire a minimum TW? I see some advertised as 600-1000. Mine would be about 450 at 15.

Hey Bill, this is a great question. So WD systems are designed with a tongue weight range that they work best with. Unlike somethings in life bigger is not better and going with a system rated too high will give you a really harsh ride quality. So trick is to find one that has a tongue weight range that encompasses the tongue weight of your trailer.
So since you have a 450 lb tongue weight a Fastway e2 kit that would work great is the # FA94-00-0600 which has a TW range of 400-600 lb.
