Can 14" Curt Hitch Extender Be Used for 1Up Bike Rack

Hello, I have.a 1 up bike rack with 2 bike trays. I currently use it with their 6 hitch extension but o need it to be longer. 1 up doesnt have anything longer. Do you know if I can use your Curt Hitch Extender for 2 Trailer Hitches - 14 Long? Will it be strong enough? Please advise, thanks

Technically you can use the Curt Hitch Extender # C45795 for anything you want. With that being said, this will reduce the weight rating of your hitch receiver by 50%, and 1Up will likely say that using a different brand extender will void the warranty of their bike rack. This is pretty standard lingo when it comes to bike rack manufacturers.

If you let me know some more details about your setup and why you're needing more room I can see if we have some alternative options for you.
