Brake Controller Installation on a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado
Question:
I watched your video http://www.etrailer.com/tv-Install-BrakeController-2007-Silverado_web.aspx and want to know if that is all it takes to have the correct electrical power to the operate the brakes via the already factory installed 7way plug at the back of the truck? If so it will be an easy sale for you, but does it work that easilyare the wires really already there to the back of the truck?

If you have a 2007 Silverado with the Classic Body style, as long as the connector port is there underneath the dash and you have a factory 7-Way connector port at the rear, all the wiring is in place and you would be ready to use your brake controller.
If your truck does not have a factory 7-Way, you would need part # 30955. It is a 7-Way harness that is plug and play. We have this part used in one of our installation videos so I will provide a link to that video as well.
