Can You Use the Frame For a Ground for a 3,000 W inverter?
Question:
Can I attach a ground in my airstream from my 3000W inverter my drilling though the sheet metal skin into a metal structural member, tap the hole, bolt with washer and lock washer?

You sure can! Just make sure you're attaching the ground firmly to a clean solid piece of steel. Be sure to sand the frame to bare metal where you make your connection to ground. Then you will want to spray paint over the top of the connections to reduce corrosion to the bare steel.
