Question:
I have everything but a base plates to flat tow my jeep tj 1998. Roadmaster all terrain, cross bar, 1427-1 male, two of them to attached to separate base plates on jeeps frame. I dont see these listed on your site. The part number is 1424-1, I found on my buddies TJ, Any help would be great Another thought, I may end up with a new bumper with D ring mounts capable of flat towing , in that case what ends do I need for my hitch, the Mounts would be 1inch thanks

Hey Tim, thanks for all of the info!
The Roadmaster Kit # 1427-1 on your buddy's Jeep is for a different model Jeep which is why you're having issues finding that for your 1998 Jeep TJ on our site. The equivalent for your '98 TJ would be the part # 1417-1 but requires you to move your factory fog lights 1" for the kit to fit.
Since you're wanting to switch to a D-Ring front bumper you'll need the Adapter Kit # RM-035-1 for 1" D-Rings. Please note you'll need to make sure your bumper is rated for flat towing. Not all of them are rated for this and I'd hate for you to purchase a new bumper just to find out it isn't compatible.

# 1417-1 You suggested these for my Jeep tj 1998. I guess I'm confused as what to do with the cross bar I have which is a roadmaster. The connection look different. I s there an example to see?
