Camper Tie-Downs For 1991 Dodge Ram D250 With 8' Bed, No Steps, & Aftermarket Hitch
Question:
Hello, I would like to get a set of camper tie downs frame mounted for my Dodge Ram. The vehicle is a 1991 D250 Ram Cummins Diesel. There are no boards or steps mounted on the bed. It does have an aftermarket hitch. Which one would you recommend to buy ? Thank you very much. Best regards, Tim

Hi Tim,
Really appreciate all that info, and with that I checked directly with our manufacturer, TorkLift, for you. And we do have frame-mounted camper tie-downs that fit your 1991 Dodge Ram D250 without running boards/steps and with an aftermarket hitch. Just keep in mind these are ONLY a fit if your D250 has an 8 foot long bed, and if you have the Regular Cab or Extended Cab. Should your truck meet the latter requirements then here's the correct fits:
- Front: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLF4000
- Rear: TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs # TLR3501
To complete your set up you'll also need turnbuckles that are compatible with frame-mounted tie-downs, the TorkLift SpringLoad XL Turnbuckles # TLS9050A.
