Option For Equipping Trailer With Hitch Ball Coupler & Pintle Hitch
Question:
Hello, pictured is the product Im in search for, i have a client who is looking for a hitch ball-pintle eye combo coupler, client is not picky just need a way to change from pintle eye to hitch ball, interchangeable or fixed. Also Im looking to mount onto a A-Frame trailer, can send photos/dimensions if needed, thank you!

Hi Daide,
That's an interesting set up your client has there, and while we don't have anything specifically in that realm, there's an option for you by using channel-mounted couplers. So either of the following could work:
- Demco 4-Hole Adjustable Channel Bracket - Weld On # DM66736
- Demco 50-Degree A-Frame Coupler - Bolt On # DM15349-52
So one would require removing the coupler currently on your client's trailer and either welding on the channel or bolting on the A-frame. From there what your client could do is switch between ball couplers and a lunette ring, depending on what is needed. The Demco Slide-Lok Trailer Coupler - 2" Ball # DM05823-81, 2-5/16" Ball # DM05557-81, or Lunette Ring # DM09557-81.
