Troubleshooting A Lippert High-Speed Power Stabilizer Jack That Extends But Won't Retract

Question:

My rear stabilizer jacks will extend but will not retract Tested the 6amp breaker and that appears fine. Measure dc voyage from the switch and it’s 13 volts one way and -13 volts the other. So I assume the switch is good. It’s plugged into shore power so that shore power so they only leaves the motor to look at ??

Hey Tony,

It sounds like you ruled almost everything out, but I do want you to check the threaded rod the runs from leg to leg to see if there's any obstructions or smashed up threads that could be stopping you from retracting the legs of your stabilizer system # LC298707. If there's no obstructions then check the connection from that rod to the motor and try to manually crank the motor with part # LC119226 to see if you can get the legs to retract as well. From there you're looking at a new motor # LC352338.
