Does Sealant Need to Be Used on The Pigtail Going From a Regulator To a Propane Tank?

When I connect my rvs propane line to my propane tank do I need to use a sealant/tape?

You will need to either use Pipe Sealant # 37207-30555 or Thread Sealant Tape # 37207-30025 on any non flared fittings such as the end on the Pigtail # 100473-12 you were looking at which threads into the regulator. You do not need this sealant on the tank side as the propane tank has its own seal.
