Roller Orientation for Reassembly of Titan Model 10
Question:
I have a Titan Model 10 hitch on my trailer from 2012. I am replacing parts, master cyclinder and dampers. When I pulled it apart, I was not paying too close attention and the 2 rollers 29 in the scematic fell to the ground. Question it lookes like in the scematic, the 2 only go on the upper damper. Is that correct? Also the rollers are beveled on one end. Where does the beveled end go?

Yes there are only two rollers on the damper. The chamfered edge on the # DX46FR should be facing out. The assembly instructions suggest using dummy pins out of 3/4" diameter dowels and state, "Insert one of the wooden dowels into the edge of the top slot of the inner. Then slide the dowel through a rear roller with the chamfered edge out, then through the end of the damper, and finally through another rear roller with the chamfered edge out.

There are two dampers. Only one uses rollers? As far as the instructions they kind of lost me.I had to read them several times. I think I understand you're using the dowel to just help assist assemble it? Rear roller? Champered edge out meaning, outward towards the Actuator frame?
