Can a Rubber Propane Hose Be Used To Connect a Water Heater To Propane on a Travel Trailer?
Question:
I would like to know if I could use a rubber hose to connect propane to my water heater for my 2002 Coachmen American Spirit traveling trailer. Do you know what product you have that would work for my water heater and camper? Thank you Julie

It will depend on what you have Julie. Unfortunately, I have no way to know what your 2002 Coachmen American Spirit travel trailer has in it for gas lines or for a water heater. You will typically have a rubber hose which comes off the regulator at the front of the trailer and goes into a black steel pipe. The pipe will then run the length of the camper and then transfer again to a rubber hose like the 12' Propane Hose # 100040-144-MBS which would then run to a water heater. I have no way to know the dimensions of hose you need or the size ends the manufacturer used for connecting to the steel gas line.
