Troubleshooting Left Hand Turn Signal Not Working On Curt 5TH Wheel Wiring Harness # C53CR

Question:

I purchased this a few months ago and the extension is not operating correctly at my bumper connection or bed connection. There is no left hand turn signal function, however the right hand appears to work fine. Trailer brake functionality is intermittent. None of my cab over camper lights are working with the bed connection. I will have to spend some time under the pickup testing all of the wires but I fear I won’t gain functionality with it. Any tips or advice you may have is much appreciated.

I would start by disconnecting the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness # C53CR so you will be able to verify the issue is with this and not either the wiring or a fuse on your truck. Since you mentioned that both connectors are not working I fear it may be a part of the trucks wiring or a damaged connector going into the trucks wiring. Once you have verified this please let me know what you find. Do note the harness has a 1-year warranty through Curt.
